CONNECTED TEACHERS —cultivating mindfulness and compassion in teaching

This training is for all education professionals, including senior management. The training can be delivered over a weekend or as a series of twilight sessions in schools. On completion of the training, teachers will be familiar with practising mindfulness exercises for themselves. They will also be able to introduce short mindfulness exercises in class.

In this training, which assumes no previous knowledge or experience, education professionals are introduced to the key principles of mindfulness, its benefits and the most up-to-date research findings. They also experiment with a series of mindfulness exercises. These exercises cultivate mental qualities of relaxation, presence and awareness.
